SIFC and Eastern Ravens
Eastern Ravens Trust and Junior Evolution Project (SIFC) decided to do a joint project through art.
The aims of the joint partnership work were to get Eastern Ravens Trust (all white girls) and Junior Evolution (all BME girls) to cohere. The girls were aged from 9 – 15 years old.
They were given a joint project to produce work of what it meant to them to be a woman in the 21st Century. This was over a three day period.
The group worked together and produced an excellent piece of artwork that is designed on two semi circle shapes and when put together makes a circle.
Barriers were broken down between the girls and they learnt new things from each other.
The number of girls that worked on this project was 23. |
